Neil currently oversees the operations of the company and is active as an auctioneer and general manager. Neil grew up around the family auction business from the time he was a child. In 1970 Neil attended the Western College of Auctioneering in Billings, Montana and began full time work shortly after. Since that time Neil has literally conducted thousands of auctions across Western Canada. He attributes most of his auction skills from spending time traveling and working auctions with his father, the late Eiling Kramer, who was a long-time auctioneer and rancher. Neil is a member of the National, Canadian, Saskatchewan and Alberta Auctioneers Associations. Neil has a wealth of experience second to none. He holds the All Around Canadian and World Champion Auctioneering titles for the year 2000. Neil along with his wife Monica have raised four children and are now proud grandparents. Neil enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren. He has a keen interest in classic cars, enjoys horses as well as hunting and fishing.

Monica Kramer

Office Manager

Monica manages all accounting aspects of the business operations. She married Neil in 1972 and joined the auction business shortly after. She has excellent business and accounting skills. She is a graduate of Business College and has several years of banking experience. Monica and Neil raised four children and are now proud grandparents. Monica loves spending time with her grandchildren and enjoys gardening, sewing and camping.

Kim Kramer

Kim currently works as an auctioneer and equipment auction manager. Kim grew up around the auction business and began full time work in 1997. He is consistently expanding his knowledge of the auction industry and business in general. He has attended the University of Saskatchewan – College of Agriculture; Certified Appraisers Guild of America – Kansas City, Missouri; World Wide College of Auctioneering – Mason City, Iowa and is currently attending the Certified Auctioneers Institute at the Indiana University. Kim is a member of the National, Canadian, Saskatchewan and Alberta Auctioneers Associations. He enjoys managing many of the equipment auctions as well as the marketing duties for the company. Kim and his wife Alison and two sons Randen and Millar live in North Battleford. He enjoys spending time with family, has an interest in numerous sports and also enjoys camping, hunting and fishing.

Brendan Kramer

Brendan started working with Kramer Auction Sales Ltd as a ringman, clerk, and cashier and doing set-ups on a part time basis while he was in high school. Since graduating from high school in 1997, he has worked full time for Neil Kramer Auction Sales and also graduated from the World Wide College of Auctioneering in the year 2000. Brendan has become a great asset to the company, as he possesses great people skills along with an excellent salesmanship and presentation ability. He enjoys working at the auctions as an auctioneer, ringman, and occasionally as a clerk or cashier. Brendan is a member of the Saskatchewan and Alberta Auctioneers Associations. Also our Trailer Sales Manager, Brendan spends most of his time selling our line of Southland stock, horse, and flat deck trailers as well as our line of Royal Cargo trailers. During our livestock sale season, Brendan manages the livestock auctions at the Big Bid Barn. Over the last few years he has been making the transition to managing more of the equipment auctions. Brendan and his wife Shannon and children Ryleigh, Jace and Kylan live in North Battleford. Brendan enjoys spending time with family, also hunting and fishing and camping.

Michael Higgs

Michael began working with Neil Kramer Auction Sales Ltd. in 1992 with seasonal employment as a set-up consultant and professional ringman. In 2007 Michael began working full time. He is currently employed as a trailer sales rep; auction representative and ringman. He and his wife Joelle (Kramer) along with children Austin and Madison live in North Battleford. Michael enjoys spending time with his family as well as motorcycling, cycling, skiing, fishing and woodworking.

Bryan Somerville

Bryan started his career as an auctioneer working with his father, well known Ray Somerville of Somerville Auction Service in 1975 and has been involved in auctioneering ever since. He joined the Kramer group in spring of 2005. He was born and raised in West Central Saskatchewan on the family farm and has extensive experience in the agriculture and trucking industries. He attended Olds College and studied Agriculture Production. Bryan and his wife, Brenda, live on the farm at Mantario and have raised two children, Delia and Dylan.

Sam Somerville

Sam started farming in 1976 with his dad and brothers and worked with Somerville Auctions when he had a chance. In 1981 Sam attended Olds College for Agricultural Mechanics and graduated in 1984. After school Sam married Rhonda Olson in 1984. Sam attended and graduated from the Western College of Auctioneering in 1989. Two years later Sam and Rhonda started a family with a son Steven and two years later a daughter Randi followed. Sam had the pleasure of driving trucks for a number of years for Somerville Farms Ltd. as well as continuing to farm with his brothers Bryan and Kenny. Sam helps out with the mechanical duties with the trucking company. Sam really enjoys being at a hockey rink watching his children or yours. Sam also coaches a senior men’s hockey team. Scott is another outstanding auctioneer with a great sense of humour who loves to keep the crowd and staff entertained. Scott and his wife Trish live in North Battleford and have two girls, Breann and Rachelle and one boy Carson.
