KRAMER AUCTION HISTORY



Kramer Auction was founded in 1949 by the late Eiling Kramer who was a long time rancher, well known politician & auctioneer in Saskatchewan. The first auction he conducted was a farm auction for John Buchko of Sandwith, Saskatchewan in 1949.

Eiling KramerEiling continued to conduct several auctions through the 1950's & 1960's. In 1970 Eiling's son, Neil Kramer, went to auction school and began work with the company. Neil's wife, Monica, joined operations shortly after as the company was rapidly expanding. Neil & Monica Kramer have conducted several hundreds of auctions since that time and have enjoyed success as one of the regions top auction firms. The third generation of the Kramer family joined the auction team in 1997 when Kim & Brendan Kramer began full time work with the company. In 1998 the Kramers expanded their operations with the construction of "The Big Bid Barn" auction facility.

The facility is currently used to conduct equipment, real estate, livestock, and general merchandise auctions. The facility also made room for the Kramers to open a trailer dealership which has already grown to be one of the areas largest.

The "Big Bid Barn" auction facility has enabled Kramer Auction to better serve their customers. Neil & Monica and sons Kim & Brendan along with their employees have continued to expand their auction operations to where they are today. Kramer Auction now conducts over 100 auctions annually across Western Canada. They have enjoyed proven success in all types of equipment auctions. They conduct over 70 equipment auctions each year from all types of agricultural, industrial, and commercial equipment.The company also conducts several livestock and real estate auctions at the Big Bid Barn as well as several estate auctions featuring antiques and collectibles.

The Kramers also contribute to several non-profitable organizations and charity groups by conducting several fundraising auctions throughout the year.
